Creating Table In Microsoft Word 2013:Draw Table Method

In the previous post we discussed a method of drawing a table in Microsoft word 2013. You can click here to read that post. But now we will discuss another method which is called the draw table method
We will see how we can use this method to draw the table below.

Looking at the table, we have 8 rows and 4 columns. So we start by clicking on insert

After that, we click on table

This will result to

Then we click the draw table button

After clicking on the draw table button, we see a pencil. We then drag the pencil to any convenient length

Since we need four columns, we can add 3 more columns to the right. We do this by pressing inserting right 3 times.

First Time

Second Time

Third Time

Now we are through with columns. The next step is to create more rows as we have only one row. But the table must have 8 rows from the illustration at the beginning of this post.

So we make sure that the mouse is in any of the cells or boxes and then we click on insert below seven times.

When we the insert below button seven times, we will be seeing something like this

Then we go to the upper part of the table that is first row and then try to merge all the boxes in it. We do this by highlighting all the boxes in the first row.

After we go ahead to click the merge cells button

To give

The next thing we’ll do is to highlight the whole table

Then we click on Middle Align Center

Then we can then be filling all the parts f the table as given above starting from the header.
